In Afghanistan, 8 out of 10 households must borrow money or food , many resort to the unthinkable - selling a child to survive; but they are not alone. Many communities face this hardship due to economic turmoil and natural disasters which cause humanitarian crises and put families into fragile conditions. But you can help change that.
Your timely gift — or monthly contribution towards supporting families in fragile contexts will multiply 3X in value. You will help provide young children and their families with the strategies to survive, adapt, and thrive in complex, rapidly changing conditions.
It costs World Vision Canada CA$66 per month to provide food for a family of five living in a fragile context, in partnership with the World Food Programme.
