Syrian refugees move to Azraq
The opening of a new refugee camp in Jordan marks a sad but significant milestone in the Syrian refugee crisis​, according to the international humanitarian aid agency World Vision. The camp, which is located near the community of Azraq  about 100 km east of Amman, has been under construction for several months and has the capacity to host 130,000 people.

Protecting education from attack

World Vision is pleased to be welcomed into the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS family after successfully becoming the record holder for the Longest line of candy canes. Measuring 1,047 metres, 7,335 candy canes were formed in lines and featured a giant heart, with the help of students from Hamilton District Christian High School.
